META Tags

Your eSite gives you the power to include "META" information. META tags, though never seen when you view the page, are used by search engines to catalog and index your eSite. You can include up to 75 characters: a short descriptive phrase about the content of a page. You should not use complete sentences. DNS: A Personalized Web Address

A popular question is: "How do I get my eSite to be "www.yourname.com." With an eSite, getting a personalized Web address is really simple. Just sign up and you're ready to go. Unfortunately, getting the personalized Web address you want might not be possible, especially if you want to call your site something like "Bobby.com" or worse, "finance.com." Virtually every word in the dictionary is already owned by someone, so you might have to get creative with what you call your site.

A couple of rules of thumb:

1. Keep it as short and simple as you can. Acronyms aren't a bad idea, if you can get the one you want. You might want to avoid something like, "getabrandnewcarrealcheaptoday.com".
2. You can use a phrase connected by dashes (-), like: "bigred-carz.com."

Discussion Groups

Discussion groups are a great way to get your customers talking. It gives them an opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions, or communicate with each other. Your eSite allows you to create as many different groups as you want!

Links Page

Create a page of links to anywhere on the Web! Links are great. Links provide an opportunity for you to bring your customers and your industry closer together, or to just point people to your favorite places.

Photo Scrapbooks

It's easy to upload images from your computer to your eSite to create a scrapbook! Use scrapbooks as a place to put images that you want to display for your visitors, or as a place to store images you want to use later.

Stock Art Libraries

The eSite comes fully loaded with lots of great images for you to use. Choose from different libraries of background images, icons, and pictures of people and places.

Site Appearance

You can choose from an infinite number of color and style combinations. Start by uploading your company's logo to display it on your eSite's Home page. You can choose either button or text navigation, set a background color and background image, and choose from a variety of typefaces.
